looking back... Warning... large post ahead...

So I have been cleaning out my system and getting my computer more organized.
It was fun ( and not so fun ) to see some of my past shoots.
I have always loved photography, I've loved looking at beautiful pictures that are inspiring, fun, creative and just pretty. I had no idea how complex it really was until I started reading, and learning about it. I love a challenge, I love putting my mind to something and not giving up until I figure it out, and perfect it! So after many books, google searches, classes, one on one tutoring, pulling my hair out, staying awake all night and in tears at times,  I feel like I have come a long way. But, if you know me well,  you will know that I am still not satisfied with my work, I am still trying to learn as much as I possibly can, practicing, practicing, practicing, and still trying to perfect it as much as possible... and in the quickest way possible ( I am a little impatient!) . Also, if you know me well, you'll know that I become obsessed, strong willed, and completely determined to progress and learn!
Thanks to my patient husband who has to listen to me ramble about exposure, white balance, and sharpness, who get to laugh at me sleep talk about " shades of gray" " the ISO, the ISO" " let's shoot at the chateau" "get me some scissors, we need to cut up the pictures" and my most recent one while my kids were waking me up before school, " hurry we're going to be late for the folder", who also has had to fork over a whole bunch of money for my gear ( which never ends!)... and thank you to my sweet five kids who have to sit and pose for me, drive around in the car looking for locations, and listen to me talk photography to them, even though they have no idea what I'm talking about... and to my whole family, and my friends for helping me with my kids while I've had to shoot or get caught up on my editing.
And thank you to all of you fun, happy, nice people who have trust in me to take good pictures,  and allow me to be fulfilled in this way.
So now that I have totally embarrassed myself with the sleep talking thing, and have just given you the full shpill on my life, here are a few of my favorite's from past shoots.
In case you were wondering, I took my first class in May 2008 and have been addicted ever since! What do you think?! I'd love to hear from you all!
