I love the young and playful vibe this shoot has to it! Inspired by yet another creation from the ever talented Nicole Davis from meohmy! blog, I thought it would be fun to incorporate her paper flowers as seen here from her blog for this shoot. Thank you Trader Joe's for having such lovely fresh flowers on hand at any given moment, and to my awesome assistants Kathrine and Brittany for helping put this all together on a whim, and of course to the wonderful vendors who contributed their services, time and talent. I am so lucky to have such amazingly creative people all around me!

To me, the magic of photography, per se, is that you can capture an instant of a second that couldn't exist before and couldn't exist after. It's almost like a cowboy that draws his gun. You draw a second before or after, you miss and you're dead - not them. To me, photography's always like that.
